I get it; I was once where you are right now: Feeling with certainty that I wanted to change my relationship with alcohol, curious about what life without alcohol would really be like, but hesitant to make the commitment (and secretly terrified because it looked like the only resources out there were for people in recovery.
My name is Amanda and I’m an alcohol-free young professional passionate about helping other young women avoid the pitfalls I had to face when I decided it was time to break up with alcohol.
When I started out on the journey to quit drinking, I didn’t have someone to hold my hand. I didn’t have a mentor to show me the vision of what it would look like living a life free of alcohol.
I didn’t have someone to re-assure me that giving up drinking wouldn’t land me with no friends, no social life and no sense of community.
I didn’t have someone to walk me through the whirlwind of emotions and discomfort I’d experience navigating my adult life without booze.
